Job Description:

A Basketball Head Recruiting Coach maintains and manages accounts of student-athlete clients of NCSA, helps student-athletes reach milestones in the recruiting process, and ensures that proper progress is being made for all student-athletes under his or her direction. A Softball Head Recruiting Coach is also well versed in the recruiting process and current on recruiting regulations. A strong desire to guide student-athletes through the recruiting process will be required. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist NCSA's student-athletes in all aspects of the recruiting process
  • Monitor student-athletes progress and program participation
  • Evaluate student-athletes and match them with college programs
  • Host both personal and group educational classes on timely recruiting topics
  • Conduct extensive phone outreach to connect with members of the NCSA Network
  • Coach NCSA student-athletes/families as needed
  • Answer emails regarding recruiting related questions
  • Help student-athletes/families understand the steps they need to take to maximize the recruiting process
  • Retain clients
  • Maintain a high satisfaction level amongst clients
  • Create and maintain a positive, productive team orientated department

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • The ability to effectively evaluate, teach, communicate, and interview with student-athletes
  • Former college coach and/or athlete strongly preferred
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Strong work ethic with team player mentality
  • Professional, friendly phone demeanor
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to type over 35 words per minute
  • Excellent writing skills

Resolutions Coordinator Job Details

The Financial Aid Coordinator at NCSA works in a variety of fast-paced environments on concurrent client engagements to provide quality customer service that promotes top quality client experience. This position is tasked with handling all inbound and outbound family calls, responding to client email requests to alter or cancel their membership, making necessary adjustments to client payment schedules and amounts, pro-actively working on projects to try and reduce the overall cancel percentage of families, and answering any incoming communications from families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to families and diligently resolve membership concerns and inquiries in a timely manner
  • Maintain a heightened level of customer service while handling calls pertaining to collection issues, customer payments, and cancellations
  • Provide support to the Scout Force and Coaching Team on matters relating to payments and membership alterations
  • Handle incoming calls and voicemails to the NCSA Financial Aid Payments Queue in a helpful manner to overcome obstacles and retain clients
  • Provide high level customer service that promotes customer experience and decreases escalated cancel situation. 
  • Meet with the Financial Aid Manager on a monthly basis to discuss strategic areas of improvement in work flow. 
  • Focus on improving client experience and decreasing overall cancel percentages.
  • Make all necessary adjustments to client payment schedules and amounts.
  • Manage the Financial Aid Inbox and to respond to all communications in an appropriate and timely manner. 
  • This Position reports directly to the Financial Aid Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
  • Former college athlete or coach strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with collections a plus
  • Exceptional time management skills

  • Solid understanding and experience of MS Office
  • Proven experience in customer service

Job Description

A Head Recruiting Coach Assistant will provide customer support in all aspects of maintaining memberships of NCSA student-athletes. The position will allow a Head Recruiting Coach Assistant to communicate and interact with student-athletes and their families daily. A Head Recruiting Coach Assistant will manage inbound and outbound contact to and from NCSA members throughout their recruiting process and provide sport-specific recruiting advice.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule coaching sessions for NCSA members with Head Recruiting Coaches;
  • Communicate with NCSA members via outbound and inbound phone calls, emails and text messages;
  • Coach NCSA student-athletes/families as needed;

  • Provide a world class customer service experience to all NCSA clients; and
  • Assist Head Recruiting Coaches with other responsibilities as assigned.

Typical Work Schedule

  • Weeknight and weekend availability required, up to 29 hours per week;
  • Typical work hours are flexible, but recommended availability would include Monday-Thursday from 1:30-8pm CST and Sunday from 12-5:30pm CST.

Job Description:
At NCSA, our Part Time Customer Service Representatives are called Recruiting Coach Assistants. In this role, you will provide customer support in all aspects of maintaining memberships of NCSA student-athletes. The Recruiting Coach Assistant will provide daily inbound and outbound communication with student-athletes and their families throughout the recruiting process and provide sport-specific recruiting advice.
